Government agencies communicate via .gov.sg websites (e.g. go.gov.sg/open).Trusted websites

Secure websites use HTTPS

Look for a lock () or https:// as an added precaution. Share sensitive information only on official, secure websites.

From 1 July 2026, SGDI will only list contact details of senior personnel to reduce the risk of Government Official Impersonation Scams (GOIS). For enquiries, please contact the relevant agency via the Quality Service Manager’s (QSM) email or feedback form.

Government officials will never ask you to transfer money over a call. Always confirm the identity of the officer by contacting the agency directly through its corporate email or phone number, before disclosing any personal details.
