Provides guidance on national health IT projects and initiatives, develops policy and national guidelines, and oversees the operations and requirements for these initiatives, including use of clinical informatics standards and best practices to support health IT programmes. Also works with other stakeholders on the National Electronic Health Record and associated systems.
